The Dhaulagiri Pooja Ceremony was successfully held today at Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,740m) in the presence of the expedition’s climbing members, experienced mountain guides, and the entire expedition team.

The sacred Buddhist ritual was conducted by a Lama to honor the mountain deities and seek their permission, protection, strength, and blessings for a safe and successful expedition. The ceremony is an important spiritual tradition before beginning the ascent of one of the world’s most challenging peaks.

At 8,167 meters, Mount Dhaulagiri is the seventh-highest mountain in the world and one of Nepal’s most demanding expedition peaks. Located in the western Himalayas, the mountain is renowned for its steep slopes, technical climbing sections, unpredictable weather, and extreme high-altitude conditions. Its challenging terrain requires strong physical preparation, technical expertise, proper acclimatization, and the support of experienced climbing guides and Sherpa team members.

Alongside the religious ceremony, our climbers have completed essential training and final preparations under the guidance of our experienced climbing leaders. These preparations have strengthened their technical skills, confidence, and readiness for the demanding days ahead.
