I have known Lakpa for many years and have had the privilege of watching him work in the mountain’s multiple times. He is an exceptionally skilled high-altitude operator and everything always runs smoothly under his leadership. His team of Sherpas at 8K is consistently professional. When we climbed K2 together in 2021, Lakpa was tasked with organizing the entire expedition in Pakistan at the last minute in the post-COVID era, yet everyone still reached the summit. Best place for Climbers.

I had a fantastic experience climbing Manaslu 8163m with 8K Expeditions. Very professional, experienced mountaineers head the company and I felt totally safe throughout the expedition with my very experienced and knowledgable Sherpa guide. Could not wish for a better service at base camp and at higher camps and throughout the expedition. Will definitely be coming back to climb more mountains with 8K!

In 2023, I climbed K2 with 8K. It was a really difficult season, with unpredictable weather and many doubts whether the peak would be accessible to climbers at all.I had the opportunity to meet 8K and see how well it works, already in the first year of their activity, at Manaslu in 2021. I recommend this agency to my friends, because you can rely on them. And what is important, the Sherpa team from 8K are excellent, professional mountain guides who know their job and safety rules.
