Mr. Ashok Lama, the emerging young Aspirant Guide from Kavre District, is an upcoming IFMGA certified Mountain Guide. He is a highly sought-after climbing guide in 8k Expeditions Pvt. Ltd. The reason is his rigorous training, such as basic and advanced mountaineering courses, Avalanche Rescue Courses, High Mountain Rescue Training, Trekking Guide Training and Rock Climbing courses and whatnot. In 2025 Spring, He was the leader of Everest Rope Fixing Team that fixed the rope from camp 2 to the summit.

Notable climbs: Amadablam x 3, Mt. Everest x 2, Lhotse, Manaslu, Himlung, and numerous 6000 m peaks.
