Trip Overview

Singu Chuli (6501 m) Peak Climbing in 2025 also known as the fluted peak is one of the highest and most difficult trekking peaks situated in the Annapurna massif, towards the west of Gangapurna. It is located in the Ridgeline starting from Tarke Kang and continues south to Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak).

The astounding peak was first conquered by Wilfrid Noyce and David Cox in 1957. The climbers need to walk on ice and rocks on a snowy ridge to reach the Summit.  The final section of the climb is highly technical but the reward and feeling of achievement that one gets on reaching the summit are indescribable in words. The summit offers 360° panoramic views of the Annapurna massif, the Dhaulagiri range, Chulu range, Lamjung Himal, and many giant peaks in the background.

The trekking route follows the same route as in the Annapurna Base Camp Trek until we diverge towards the Tent Peak Base Camp leading to Singu Chuli Base Camp. We pass through numerous picturesque villages with diverse cultures and traditions, terraced farmlands, dense forests, high waterfalls, deep gorges while witnessing the captivating views of the snow-capped mountain ranges throughout.

Singu Chuli Peak climbing in 2025 requires some alpine and ice climbing experience. Therefore, it is recommended to those who do have some prior experience of high altitude mountaineering and are well acquainted with using climbing gear.

The best seasons for Singu Chuli Peak Climbing in 2025 are Spring and Autumn with favorable weather. The skies are blue and clear with the least chance of rain and snowfall. It gives the feel of refreshment as nature is blooming to its fullest in these seasons.
