Lobuche East Peak Summit Success At 6,119m | 8K Expeditions

Everest Base Camp to the Summit of Lobuche East

8K Expeditions proudly congratulates Mr. Brandon Dumais of Canada and Mr. Marius Bogdan of Romania on their successful ascent of Lobuche East Peak standing at an impressive 6,119 meters.

Lobuche East Peak

Lobuche East Peak is one of Nepal’s most popular trekking peaks located in the Khumbu region near Everest Base Camp. The mountain offers climbers a challenging and rewarding Himalayan experience, combining high-altitude trekking with technical snow and ice climbing. From the summit, climbers can enjoy spectacular views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

Mr. Brandon Dumais reached the summit at 5:35 AM followed by Mr. Marius Bogdan at 6:16 AM. Their achievement marks the culmination of an incredible journey through the Khumbu region including the unforgettable experience of visiting Everest Base Camp before reaching the summit of Lobuche East.

The climbers were supported by dedicated 8K Expeditions climbing guides Mr. Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa and Mr. Kishor Tamang whose expertise, commitment and mountain leadership contributed greatly to the expedition’s success.

The successful summit represents a remarkable Himalayan achievement for both climbers and reflects their determination, endurance, and passion for mountaineering.

8K Expeditions congratulates once again to both climbers and the entire expedition team on this outstanding accomplishment.
