Mountaineer Naoko Watanabe And Team Successfully Summit Nanga Parbat With 8K Expeditions

Historic Summit for 8K Expeditions

 

We are proud to announce another outstanding achievement as the 8K Expeditions Japanese Nanga Parbat 2026 Team successfully reached the summit of Nanga Parbat (8,126 m), the ninth-highest mountain in the world.

 

Summit Date: 1st July 2026

 

The expedition was led by the legendary Naoko Watanabe, the first Japanese woman to complete all fourteen 8000-meter peaks and the first woman in the world to summit K2 three times, an extraordinary mountaineer whose experience and leadership inspired the entire team.
