Legendary Sanu Sherpa leads Chinese Team to the summit of Lhotse (8,516 m)

 

Today at 6:40 AM Nepal time, world record holder and legendary high-altitude mountaineer Mr. Sanu Sherpa 🇳🇵 successfully reached the summit of Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m) alongside his incredible international team members and Sherpas, marking another extraordinary achievement above the death zone.

Known globally as the first climber in history to complete the Double 14x8000ers, Mr. Sanu Sherpa continues to inspire the mountaineering world with his unmatched endurance, courage, and lifelong dedication to the mountains.

Despite challenging high-altitude conditions, deep cold, and demanding terrain, the team pushed forward with strength, discipline and teamwork to stand proudly on the summit of the world’s 4th-highest mountain.
