ISLAND PEAK ROPE FIXING & SUMMIT SUCCESS | AUTUMN 2026

A huge congratulations to Mr. Abhisek Swain on successfully summiting Island Peak (Imja Tse), 6,189 m, together with our experienced climbing guide Mr. Chhewang Sherpa.

Due to the delay in the scheduled rope-fixing operation by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) this season, 8K Expeditions took the initiative to led the rope-fixing operation to the summit of Island Peak 2026, establishing a safe and secure route for climbers during the Autumn 2026 climbing season.
