Best time for Ghorepani Poonhill Trek

While treks can be organized throughout the year with enough preparations, the best season to plan for the trek to Ghorepani-Poonhill is Spring (March, April, and May months) and Autumn (September, October, November, and December). Monsoon poses the threat of landslides and road blockage while the Winter season is too cold to travel. But if you seek wild adventure, we can organize the trek any time of the year as per your request. (Please contact the company for special requests).

Preparation for the Ghorepani-Poonhill Trek

The Ghorepani-Poonhill Trek is considered to be moderate in terms of difficulty. With organized trails and adequate lodges and tea houses on the way, it is much easier for travelers to walk with ease unlike in remote trekking trails. Anyone with proper physical fitness and little or no experience of high-altitude trekking can opt for this trek.
